At one time, when issuing materials on a work order, if there was a component listed twice in the bom a flag came up and asked if you wanted the bom compressed.  When you said YES it would issue the materials correctly for each line.
 
That flag is not popping up anymore.  So, what is happening is the 1st line of the duplicate component is over-issued by the amount of the other line(s) and the other lines are not showing as issued at all.
 
In the end it is all a wash.  It may be a minor issue but we have components in multiple sequences on many assemblies and it is making our reports come out funny.
 
Do we need to change a setting somewhere?  I have noticed that the Compress BOM button is in WO-K-B but it would be very inconvenient to manually compress everytime we issue a job.
