We had an instance where one of our operators started building a part using the wrong material (wire). I used WO-G to issue the material to the work order as scrap and when asked to add to the BOM responded yes. When the work order was finally closed and backflushed the system duplicated the material scrap issue......
 
Am I missing something or was I wrong in the way I handled this situation.
