Update to 2004.1 problems

I am trying to update DBA from Version 2002.1 SP2 to Version 2004.1. When I go through the initial questions everything is fine until I start the update process (installation). The installation indicates an error "fileloc.b status 3014". It says that the installation is finished even though it did not do anything. The version is the same as before 2002.1 SP2.

We are running Win 2000 server, with a terminal server. DBA is installed on the application server. We are using Pervasive 2000 (one upgrade below the 2000i version).

Any thoughts?

If you are using WIN 2000 then you should upgrade the Pervasive to 2000i but I don't think this is the problem here.

Are you trying to do the update through Terminal Services or on the application server directly? If possible I would recommend doing the update directly on the application server. Before you start, run the DBA Workstation Setup (C:\DBAMFG\Workstation Setup\SETUP.EXE) on the application server and make sure you can load DBA. Then launch the update.
