estimate changes quote number ? (Read 368 times)

estimate changes quote number ?

today I did an estimate  i dont use this often
now i did a quote  the next quote number changed from 2400 and some down into the 1700's
 
How do i keep this from happening

Check the BKESTCFG file in Maintain Database - I suspect you have more than 1 record in the file.  Should be only 1.  Once you have only 1 record, then use SD-G and SD-M to reset the "Next" numbers for both quotes and estimates.

thanks that seems to have fixed it
there were 6 records in that file
I deleted 5 of them  at random
