Stuck in WO-I !!!

In WO-I, the user realizes they want to back out of doing the transactions, but they are on the serial number screen and cannot use ESC or X or F3 or anything to get out. DBA won't let them cancel what they started.

They tried using CTRL-ALT-DEL (a no-no) and that ended up really messing things up, so I said you need to use ESC.  But it does not seem to work.

No, that is really the point of no return.  if we enabled Esc out of the Serial Number entry, you could end up with serialized parts in stock with no serial numbers.  If you really get that far and realized you messed up, enter bogus serial numbers so everything gets processed, then go back into WO-I and click Lookup when the cursor is on the Date field and find the entry you just did and pull it up and reverse it, using hte same bogus serial numbers.

Sad
Bummer, but that's actually what we ended up doing, kinda (the bogus serial # part).  I said you just have to be sure that's what you want to enter, otherwise you will get stuck.

Thanks,

Lynn,

Is it not possible in TAS to create a called sub that if a user selected a "back out transaction" type button would create a serial number placeholder in the table and then would run a reverse posting routine that would clean up the other tables and allow the user out of the transaction?
