How does the scrap dollars work in finished production.  When I answer NO to "Use std cost" and put my last cost in or something else, I get a message: Confirm:
$0.00 is attributable to the scrap.  Do you wish to post separately (Y) or absorb (N) into the cost of the good parts?  When I answer YES to "Use std cost" I do get some $$$ attributable to the scrap.  
 
How do I get dollars to post when I say NO and enter my own cost in?
 
When there are $$$, they are posting to finished goods inventory.  How do I automatically get them moved to cogs?
