Parts List with Manufacturer
09/07/04 at 09:04:30
We would like to get a report with the following info:
Our part number
Description-both lines
Manufacturer Name and Number
Is this Possible without a special report or a great deal of editing in a program like Excel?

I would set up an ODBC connection an use the Query Manager in Excel to go and get that data. Then you can save that excel file and whenever you open it, it will ask if you want the data refreshed.

Once you have your ODBC connection working, in Excell go to DATA, GET EXTERNAL DATA, NEW DATABASE CONNECTION. I think the table you need is MTICMSTR. After you build the query, save it for use later.
