Blank Date Field in Unposted WO Transactions
09/23/04 at 05:17:35

We have WO transactions posting to the G/L.  Yesterday, we came up with about 150 unposted WO material issue transactions without blank transaction date fields.  A-GL-O will not allow posting until the blank fields are corrected to the an appropriate date.  Is there a way to quickly fill the date filedl (possibly via Maintain database) rather than using A-GL-P 150+ times to correct each individual WO unposted G/L transaction ?

Yes. The table is BKGLTEMP.

Easier than Maintain Database, use UT-K-B on the BKGLTEMP table to change blank date to the date you want.  Make sure when you enter blank date as the value to replace, you say N to replace all values.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Is there  away to fill down in the Maintain database field as opposed to enter the date repetitively in each record ?

I wrote my reply regarding filling down before I read the suggestion regarding the use of the utility. I have just used the utility to replace blank values with the correct date and it worked perfectly.   Thanks.
