RTM format revisions for packing slip
10/07/04 at 11:38:11

I copy / pasted the bar code from the inventory label RTM file (bking2.rtm) into the packing slip file bksoc3.rtm and the bar code appeared okay in that file.  I saved the file and printed a packing slip many times but could not get the bar code to appear.  Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

You can't add fields to RTMs in standard TAS 5 DBA.  The actual program needs to define the data that goes into the bar code object and the Pack Slip program doesn't know what to do with the variable you dumped in from the Inventory label program.

TAS 6 Evolution has more flexibility in this regard and you can bring in data fields to an RTM.

We would like to put barcodes on our packing lists as well, but have to use the T5 screen because our (T6SOC.RUN) program was broken after our last update.
