TASXXXX.TMP Files

We have an odd problem.  Our DBA directory had 12000 TASXXXX.TMP files, which were basically each and every report that was sent to the list? over the past couple of years.  The "XXXX" is a series of numbers and letter.  Is this typical?  Or are we missing a program to eliminate these files after their use.
 
Any help would be great!

Manually delete them all....  Your users may not have Delete access rights to the folder which is causing them to accumulate.
