Exchange rate (date used) error in multiple curr.
11/10/04 at 06:48:57

Hello,

Our company uses multiple currencies, and somehow, lately, we noticed that for the past two years, the exchange rate being used, whenever we do receiving, is not the Actual Receive Date rate but rather a past rate date that will remain the same for any received item in a given PO (ex. if we do ten receiving on a given PO, the exchange rate date will be the same for all ten instead of the ARD date that each item was received).

What I have noticed as being used was the following: The field BKAP_PO_ISMCDT from table BKAPHPO is being used as the ARD (Actual Receive Date) instead of the field BKAP_POL_ARD from table BKAPHPOL.

This error was first noticed on a Detailed Trial Balance report.

We are presently using DBA version 2004.1.

How can this be corrected? Is there a patch that exists to correct this?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Daniel

This is the answer I have received from DBA Software Technical Support

That is a known problem with the receiving and multi-currency logic. You will be notified when a service pack is available.
