AP-C problem
01/04/05 at 08:31:21

We have a receiver that is showing  up in the rni report and will not come up when we try to invoice against it.  I have looked in maintain database and the record exists in the BKAPHPO and BKAPHPOL databases with the date we are  using as receipt date.  I was trying to find the received flag in the BKAPHPO file but can't figure out the field to look at.  What else should I look at and how do I fix it?  I know I have seen this topic before but can't seem to find that either!

In lookin further at this PO, The PO is not listed in the open PO list in PO-A,  when I try to print it is says it is fully received, paid and closed, but when I go to PO-D to reopen it  it says I can't reopen a PO that is not closed (the closed field is blank )  I looked  in the BKAPPO and POL files in maintain database and the po is no longer in these files.  It has been fully received, but not invoiced as I said in the previous post.  Help!

Never mind, I fixed it.  There was a line in PO-D view PO receivers that wasn't a receipt line but a close PO line.  Apparently whoever received it closed the PO afterwards with PO-K.  I reopened it by selecting the line for the PO with a C for closed.  Then AP-C worked and closed the PO properly.

We had another instance of trying to invoice a received PO this morning and this time the PO was definitely not closed on purpose.  When we looked in PO receivers, the PO was listed twice, the first without a C in the Closed field and second with the C.  Both lines displayed the same information in the line item detail.  When we reopened the Closed one and invoiced and closed the PO, and went back to PO receivers, the two lines were listed, this time the first instance was closed and the second was not but had no line item detail.  Has anyone seen this happen-- we are baffled as to how it did and would like to prevent it in the future.
