Sales Tax on Freight

I have been asked by our accounting department if it is possible for DBA to calculate sales tax, not only for the line items, but for the freight as well. Apparently, Ohio considers freight as another line item that should be taxed. Any suggestions or ideas?

your best bet is to list frt as a separte line item instead of using the frt part of the system.

No need to make a separate line item.  In the setup of the Tax Groups, there is a flag to set to designate whether froeight is to be taxed.
