e-mail addin

Hi Everyone,

I have one user who all of a sudden (starting today) started getting the message " You have not created the Email settings in your Setup Program.  Please do so now and try again."

She's been emailing via Evo for quite some time, so not sure what has happened to trigger this.  I checked her config file on the local system and all appeared in order, but I went ahead and tried re-doing the email setup, and that worked for one email and then she started gettig the error again. So I blew everything (ISTS and ISNZ directories) away and set her up as if she never had TAS Evo access.  That seemed to work, but after about 3 emails she got the error again.  Can't figure out what in the world is the cause.

Any ideas?  This is our inside sales manager, so I need some quick answers ASAP. She sends out a ton of email via Evo.

TIA,

Val

??? ??? ??? ???
help me someone!

I can't believe this, have NO IDEA what else to do.  Our sales manager just can't seem to use the email addin for Evo.  A few months ago, things started not working. Any email she sent via Evo was going out as from "Unknown" instead of her name.  I blew away all the Evo setup (deleted the ISTS and ISNZ folders and emtpied the recycle bin), and reinstalled everything and for a short while things would work.  Then they reverted back to "Unknown". So again, I blew everyything away and re-did the install again.  Again, things work fine and then they suddenly don't. I've done this about four times (last night was the latest) and alreaday again she's back to having her sales quotes go out as From "Unknown".  I am at my wits ends here.  What in the *)#&^(!!! could be causing this to occur?  Any other email she sends out is perfectly OK.  But not from Evo.

SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!

When customers or prospects get her email, because it says from "Unknown" they delete it.  We are losing business.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Val

Rebuild her workstation. Flatten and re-install. 100 to 1 your problem goes away.

Yeah, that's what I told her already, and that's what I am afraid of (having to spend the time, not actually doing it--that's old had to me).

She also gets almost every time she emails a quote, the error - h:dbamfg/bcarcust.bo1-5.

My knowledge of Pervasive is that this error is related to "The MicroKernel cannot add or update a record because the record has a key field that contains a duplicate key value for an index that does not allow duplicate values. The MicroKernel also returns this status code when it cannot create an index that does not allow duplicate key values because a duplicate key value already exists."  Why in the world would she get this error when using Evo to email a quote?
