Problems with RMA Module
02/16/05 at 06:13:11

Just added access to the RMA module last night.  I successfully test entered one RMA and that's where it all stops. I went to print the RMA, and before it prints, I get a message in a white box that says "BYPASSED 2 - Bypass   NOT an RMA -  Quote = 8435". I can clear out the message box and the RMA will print.  But when I try to go back into the program, the screen flashes up for an instant, and then disappears, and there's nothing.

Even if I log out of DBA and go back in, the program to enter an RMA no longer works.  I can go in and still print the one RMA I entered, but that's it.

Same whether Evo or Classic.

HELP!

TIA,
Val

I've fixed one problem--something wrong with the one test record I entered, so I just used MDB and removed it from the bkestqt file in the test company.

We still the the "bypass" message, but can get around that for now.  But what's the cause of that?  Is the referred quote a problem record in that table, perhaps?

Thanks,

Val

We found another weird problem with the module not assigning the number automatically.  Turns out in SO defaults we had to go in and delete the number that was in there, save the settings, go out, then go back in and put in the number we wanted to start with. That seemed to work.

We still see the "bypass" error, but I think that's more of something to do with the record  in the file that is quote 8435--doesn't seem to like it, but it's in our test company so I'm going to just not worry about it.  Tongue
