Machine on batch labor entry
03/23/05 at 08:07:20

We would like to be able to specify the machine number when entering timecards during batch labor entry.  This is needed for both direct & indirect labor (Equ.repair).  Can this be added?

Entering in routings does not completely fill the bill, since we move operations between a variety of machines-depends on availability.

Thanks

DBA/EVO has machines and work centers.
The labor could be enter as work center, in that way it does not matter what machine was actually used.

Just a thought

Cool

WO-M Batch labor entry  ---- specify machine?

The instructions from RO-D mention being able to add the machine number in WO-M.  But we can't enter the machine # in WO-M because the machine number field is grayed out.
Maybe this has been fixed in a later update?

Thanks

Currently the only way you can enter a machine manually in that field is if you have the DATA COLLECTION defaults "Promt Run/Setup at clock in DC-A" set to Y and what you are entering in WO-M is for Setup Hours not Run hours. If you are entering an entry for for a WO and its for Run hours it will not let you enter a machine its view only in that field. Rather it will auto populate that field with whatever machine is setup for that sequence in the routing.
