EVO-ERP question
04/04/05 at 10:24:29

Can TAS6EVO and EVO-ERP and Classic DBA all be used on one workstation?

Can I have some workstations on EVO-ERP and others on TAS6EVO?

Not recommended and not easily.  DBA Classic and EITHER TAS6EVO or Evo-ERP at the same time is fine.  If you really want to use both TAS6EVO and Evo-ERP at the same time to get the forms switched over, I will call and walk you through it because you do have to jump through a couple of hoops.

Are we talking by the workstation or system wide?

If I could dedicate a workstation to the changeover, I would then be able to see how things run, yet have the rest of the people using Tas6EVO, until forms etc. were changed.

Okay, that would get us going.  Wed, I am in a meeting from 9-11 E.S.T.  So late morning Pacific time will work.

Thanks

Very much off topic, sorry Karen, but Kathy,  how do you create a reply like that with  someone else's reply copied into the body of your reply???

And as for Kathy's question, it doesn't apply.  Kathy, you are getting ready to install Evo-ERP for the first time.  While you are checking it out and updating the RTM forms, all the other users can continue to use DBA Classic.  What Karen was referring to was updating from TAS6 Evolution (the predecessor to Evo-ERP) and having it and Evo running at the same time.

I have never uninstalled TAS6.  Is this why I have had some of the problems I've had?  Should I uninstall TAS6?

There is no need to uninstall TAS 6 Evolution when installing Evo-ERP.  They are different Executables and INI files.
