Non-Customer Tele # on Quote
05/05/05 at 07:38:44

How do we get the Telephone and Fax #'s for non-customers to print on the quotation form?  Our customer ones print.  (EVO-ERP)

Thanks

Without looking at the form, I'd guess it's pulling the info from BKARCUST. Move the original fields out of the way and make them invisible (in case it doesn't work or you decide you want them back - it's easier). Then add the fields from BKCMACCT. As long as all your customers are in CM it will work.

You could leave both sets of fields there, but the customers who are in CM would have double entries. If none of your customers are in CM you could leave the fields from both files in the same place and visible. Only the one with info will print.

You need to change the RTM to pull in the Phone and Fax fields from the BKCMACCT file rather than BKARCUST.  If it still doesn't print, we may have to make sure the program is opening the BKCMACCT file.

If you're entering quotes for contacts who are not customers, it must be opening BKCMACCT, no?

The Enter Quote program is but I am not 100% sure the Print Quotes program is because it is just printing what has already been saved to the quote.  If it is not, we will make it so....

Lynn,
Still do not have this resolved.  The customer phone & fax numbers are printing on quotes, the non-customer ones are not.  Non-customers are entered in CM and are not made customers unless an order is received.  I tried renaming the field to call out the contact manager #'s, but it returned an error and booted me out of the program.  Any further thoughts on how to resolve this?
Thanks,
