My company is looking at the various methods that DBA has for scheduling.  When I was reviewing the Finite Scheduling, I noticed that the critical ratio is used to fill the buckets not the due date.  I assume that will mean that any work orders that are in the system scheduled out, say, for a year or so will be brought forward in order to fill the buckets.  Am I correct in this assumption?
