Hi;
We are doing rentals with option to buy. If the person
simply sends back the machine at the end of the
agreement, or we sell it to someone else, it is a trick  
with inventory. Let me try to explain. When we do the
rental SO, we do not tie the serial number to the SO,  
and then manually move the machine to an offsite  
inventory so it will not appear as finished goods
inventory. When we sell the machine at the end of the
rental agreement, we must manually move the machine
back into on site inventory to sell it, even if it physically  
stays with the person who bought it. Is there a way we
can put a rental machine on a SO and have it automatically
moved to off site inventory and then convert that SO to
a regular SO and sell from off site inventory, and at the
same time keep it from showing up as "On Hand" in our
inventory?
