Print 'Page X of Y' on SO-C
07/05/05 at 13:26:12

I want to print 'Page X of Y' on the Packing List to ensure that all pages of the packing list are including with the shipping docs.  I've tried adding a System Variable and selecting 'PageCount', 'PageSet', and 'PageSetDesc'.

Regardless of which I choose, the total number of pages is not updated from 1 until to physically preview EACH page on the List screen.  Since we prefer to send the document straight to the printer in order to reduce time and mouse clicks, I get 'Page 1 of 1' on the first page, 'Page 2 of 2' on the second page, 'Page 3 of 3' on the third page, and so on.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a flaw in the report program?

If you are using classic DBA, no you are not doing anything wrong. It is not capable of it.

If you are using the ISTS Evo product, not sure. I believe the T6 forms editor is capable of this.

Those three system variables are flawed in Classic DBA but work fine in EVO.
