I have just been told that that when entering scrap thru WO-G the scrap QTY moves to the issue QTY.    
The girl has been doing WO-G for years and said that this has never happened before.  
 Also she says that sometime the QTY changes to 2, but not always.
She said it was working great Friday.   What could have happened?
           Any and all help appreciated.

But, I dont think it is version problem, since it worked  great last week.      
I played with it and experimented 7 ways from sundown and it does it everytime.  
 
I have no other way to enter scrap.  What would make the amt entered in the scrap field "jump" to the issued field right before it is posted?

JC-E shows it as issued   not scrap  
That is how she caught it.  She prints JC-E for the job costing file and thought at first that she had made the mistake.  But when she undid it and then redid it she realized it was a bug.   I then played with it and comfirmed the problem.  
 
For the life of me I am trying to figure out what happened.   and why it is still happening.    
 
 
 

I dont see how this can have anything to do with an update.
 
We updated June 2004 ..... over a year ago.  We have not updated since.   This just started happening out of the blue.
 
Scrap stayed in scrap, and then all of a sudden,  the QTY entered in the issued field changes to the scrap field, but not until you go all the way thru the options and right before you post it.      It was working correctly two weeks ago.  
 I can not trace the change to anything....except....the only thing might be is that I turned the server off the the Saturday morning that   ???Hurricane Dennis   was supposed to hit.   But I turned it back on Monday, and I thought everything was working great.   My girl does WO-G on Fridays, so  I guess its possible that turnign the server off for 48 hrs may have done something?
 
Any ideas....We need to post our scrap.

I was thinking that maybe if I went ahead and did another update it would just * * magically * * fix it.
 
 
I guess I should try that before I start fooling with the inards.

It may not have been magically, but somehow after I did the update my scrap is now staying in the scrap field and is printing correctly on the job cost files.
 
I have only tried a few entries, I will let you know for sure after my girl posts the last few weeks.
 
Remember this problem only started a few weeks ago.  And my last update was 13 months ago.  (so while the update appears to have fixed it, it was not caused by a faulty update)
