Multi E.F.P. Doesn't Issue
07/21/05 at 08:49:18

We have just started to use the batch finished production last week. I do not have a single material issue since than. Watching the screen it looks as if it is doing it. I have the default on kit issue to Y. Their are no materials in post material batches? so no record lock issues. The finished good is in Inv and the serials are there. The real sad part is on 7-1 we did a complete phy. Inv. and our numbers were perfect cry Any ideas on an easy way to figure out what units still need materials issued? Nothing in WIP, the Allocations are gone just no UOH changes on the components..............

S*** F*** the bad luck.

Well I guess I just ASSumed that it backflushed. I know in enter finished production I have the default flag to prompt when materials have not been issued and than we issue them. I guess Multi doesn't do any backflushing!!!
Live and learn.

After further digging, I can see where Multi E.F.P. has issued materials looking at IN-A Transactions. I have not changed any defaults in awhile but now nothing.

I'm just having one great SOLO Thread Grin
The default in SD-B for backflush in enter finished production is set to N. It still promts me for it thats good but in BATCH it doesn't. Maybee the B option is better for the BATCH mode?

If the SD-B default is N then the Batch EFP will not backflush.  B would be a better setting.
