I am new to this forum and the support of our existing DBA Classic system, but could someone point me in the direction of approved bar code software & hardware suppliers for DBA?  
 
We want to streamline our production and inventory entry processes.
 
Any help is appreciated!! Smiley

There are no "approved" suppliers. Any wedge type bar code reader with a pen or "gun" will do and the only software you need is the drivers for the wedge/gun if any special ones are supplied.

Are there any particular brands you would recommend?  Such as Worth Data?  Any to avoid?

We don't use bar codes, so I can't give a recommendation, but there are some on the IS Tech Support site. Try http://www.istechsupport.com/ts_faq.asp

We're doing Data Collection on the shop floor with some re-manufactured Symbol laser scanners and they are working great.  Got them from barcodetrader.com.
