Invalid Pointer Error
08/05/05 at 12:00:11

??? ???
We are using Evo-ERP with 5/17/05 updates, and I have one user who says she keeps getting an invalid pointer error.  It comes up occasionally when she clicks on Exit from Contact Manager or Sales Order.  At first she thought maybe it was because she had both CM and SO open at same time, but it continued to happen when she was only using SO.
I've asked her next time to get me a print screen of the error, and to also try it in Classic to see if by chance there's any difference.

Anyone else come up with this error before? What's the cause & how to fix?

Thanks,

Val

Yes we have people get that occassionally.

I think sometimes it happens when they try to use a function key that is not available for that screen, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks Karen.
It hasn't come up again, but I'll see if we can determine if that's what they did.  Sometimes is difficult to get someone reporting an error to relate everything they did, so you never really know!
