Carie, You can go into SC-A and enter serail numbers for already sold items. The key is to set On-Hand to 0 (already sold) and place in the notes, who it was sold to and when. This will give you a history of serial numbers and keep you from issuing serial numbers that have already been assigned. to get current items in, CHange the part to serial control. then go into PI and freeze that part. Next gather all the serail numbers you have instock and entertag counts for them. then unfreeze inventory. This will put the right amount on the self and add the serial numbers for each one. Note: when doing a PI on a serialized item, the tag count can only be 1 so a SN can be associated with it. Hope it helps, Tim
