Trying to get the MRP system up and running.  Have bills in for all my parent part numbers and have set up my MRP parameters.  
 
1. When ever we create a sales order we automatically convert it to type s work orders.
2.  Work Orders are changed to F and R when they move to Engineering and Shop floor respectively
3.  When I run Generate MRP requirements I include sales orders thru 12/31/06 or include type s work orders but never both.
4.  I do not get any look at item that is not a type F or R work order.  I do not get a look at any item that I might want to buy in qty for 1 years worth of use (i.e. lights from a mfg that takes a loooooong time to get them from).
 
What am I doing wrong or do I have something set wrong.  On 2004.1 with 2/25/05 IS update
