Yes!  just started.  Using XI.  However I'm finding that due to the fact that there is no relation between BKGLTRAN.B  and any other part of the system,  it takes some work to "Munge" the BKGL.TRN.INVC string field into a DBL or INT to reference the WO, PO, SO and item numbers.  However, I have created a monthly WO variance report with drill down that does work 90% of the time.  
 
I'm having a problem with it skipping a couple of items.  I thing the problem is in my "Munge" but not sure.  If you would like the code, let me know.  It uses cascading prompts for date ranges (only available in XI)

Yes and no.  I go through the transaction to check validity from the reports my accountant has created for BKGLCOA.  If there is a problem I can drill down into the transaction in crystal to see why an account is off by drilling into the WO, SO or PO.
 
You are correct not a conventional ballance sheet.  However, we do have conventional ballance sheet reports our accountant had created in GL-N.  I'm just making sure they are correct and finding problems.
 
Of course as soon as you release the drill down feature everything I've done becomes obsolete!  But it is still a great learning experiance.
