Actual per Part missing JC_A
11/17/05 at 05:06:45

We recently installed the 9/25 update and noticed that JOB COST REPORT SUMMARY (JC-A) is not reflecting the Actual Per Part Costs.  Sometimes it only reflects the material category actual per part and other times it shows zeroes in all categories.

i.e.
                            Actual per Part                    Actual Total
Labor                      0.00                                  729.11
Set UP                     0.00                                   0.00
Outs. Proc.              0.00                                   0.00
Fixed Ovh               0.00                                   240.44
Var Ovh                  0.00                                   1013.24
Materials             95.9838                                4799.19
Misc                       0.00                                     0.00
Extra                     0.00                                     0.00

Totals                   95.9838                          6781.98

qty to build is 50 pcs

I tried rebuilding the work order with no effect.
This appears for both closed and open work orders since the 9/25 update.

Any thoughts???

Quantity to make is 50 but how many have been completed?  This report doesn't divide by quantity to get per piece costs until they are complete.  JC-A is really designed to be used after the WO is complete.  JC-B is a better report to use when a work order is still in process.

this work order is 100% complete at 50 pieces.

Status code is "C"; I have tried re-opening the work order and reclosing it  - recalculating the costs, but the result is the same.  The Job Cost report is not showing the actual per part costs.

Mine is showing up.  However, one I randomly pulled up, shows the actual cost per piece, but it isn't right.  I'll have to do a little more research.  Another one I pulled up the cost/pc on the labor is incorrect by pennies, however the total is correct.

We took a look at that report for the next update - trying to get it posted by Monday 11/21.
