Live to work, or work to live?

The following is based on instructions I received from Lynn and have used several times to update prices, add data, etc. I have never used it to do what you want to do, but based on how it works I'm 99.85% sure it will work, and would use it myself if I needed to accomplish what you're doing. Make a backup and get everybody out of DBA (you will need DBA, so you can keep it open as long as you don't have any modules open). Make sure you have a good backup. This assumes you are familiar with DBA file naming conventions, that "Company A" code is "A" and "Company B" code is "B". Using Windows Explorer, Delete the following files: BKICEMTR.BB BKICELOC.BB MTICEMTR.BB These are the temporary data import files in company B. Copy the following files: BKICMSTR.BA to BKICEMTR.BB BKICLOC.BA to BKICELOC.BB MTICMSTR.BA to MTICEMTR.BB This makes the live inventory files from company A the temporary inventory files in company B. Then go into DBA Company B, and run the DE Inventory Error report DE-I-A to confirm you haven't introduced errors. Run DE-M to add the temp files to DBA live data. Voila!
