User Defined (Again :-))
04/04/06 at 10:40:16

Some of us are running the new T6 version of the lookup for IN-A to use the drill downs. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem:

When we use the drill down to search it will pull up the correct part, we select that part and it takes us back to the IN-A screen, but the part selected is not listed instead it pulls the very first part number in all of our inventory, which happens to be a manual starting with a 000 part number instead.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yep, I just got a few "complaints about that" from the folks who run the MRP.  They used to be able to run down the list of parts in the MRP report in IN-A quickly because each time they would go back into lookup it would be at the last part they viewed.  Now they have to do alot more typing, as we have many parts that begin with the same starting letters and numbers--hence they do alot more drilling down to find the part, and have to spend alot more time with the task.

Any way at all we can get this to default back to the way it was?

TIA

In the update patch I just sent to a couple of people relating to some posts on ITEMS - Click the ISTechSupport logo on the top of your main Evo screen to go to the web page with the patches.

Lynn,

Thank you for the update for the user defined, it will be great once it is working properly.

When you search by user defined if you have it highlighted and press enter or double click with the mouse it does not pick that part. So basically it only works as a look up but will not let you select the part you are looking up.  ???

Can we get a fix? Thanks a bunch!  Smiley
