WO Archive problem
05/08/06 at 14:08:41

Hope someone can help.

I archived a bunch of closed WOs from 00/00/00 to 06/30/05.  there are archived and I can see then if I go to WOH***.B but IN-A doesn't show them, WO-A lets me reuse the number and there is no way to see a complete history on a archived WO!

Options on JC let me see the Lbor or material but I can't see any of my old notes from the WOs!

Why doesn't IN-A and WO-A look at the history files?  Is there an easy way to look at history?

Is there a way to undo an archive?

THanks in advance,

Tim

Tim, I raise this question in January and got nowhere.  No one from IS Tech answered my question about the note lines being placed in a new file and whether or not the archive and stuff had been thought out completely!

Please see my post;

I'm basically, running on the 11/15/2005 update because of this very issue.

WO-A has been fixed so that you cannot use an archived WO number.

SM-J-B has the ability to archive and un-archive work orders including WO notes.

DC-I can be used to lookup archived and current work orders  including the notes.

These files will be available in the next post.
