Internal error during installation
05/09/06 at 04:40:45

When attempting to install both the 2-28-06 and the 5-1-06 updates, I have gotten this message: "Internal Err - Mismatching FDs"  It occurs during the Update process at the point where the Update window reads "Initialize: BKDCCFG.B".

Otherwise the update appears OK.  It passes the "open and exit from WO-D" test.  After viewing other postings in the Forum I also tried the WO-A notes conversion and did the UT-J "Generate DDFs" operation.  Both ran without error.

Right now this is happening on our pilot server.  Is it safe to continue and do it on the main server?  Is there a problem that can be fixed?

Thanks,
Steve Carpenter for FHC Inc.

Steve,

The BKDCCFG file in used for Data Collection. In your case you could try to run UT-A. Enter DBAIF (add .run if running Evo) and initilize BKDCCFG.

Unless you are importing your data collection from an outside system, it will not matter to your system.

Thank you Allen... that's just what we needed to know.  Looks safe to me.  I'll initialize before we do the update as some day we may want to use data collection.
