Is there a way to set up email using Exchange instead of a pop3 account?  Any help would be appreciated...

POP3 is used to retrieve e-mail

SMTP is what you need only, to send from EVO right?

All mail servers work essentially the same way. You need to configure your Exchange server to accept direct mail connections from your domain, or in my case it was a range of internal IP addresses--this will allow the relaly of mail to the server outside of the stadard e-mail program but only from specified IP addresses, hence keeping your mail server locked down and not making it an open relay for anyone else.  I had to configure my SMTP server module of the program we use (not Exchange).  But it's essentially the same idea.  In the Evo client, just put in the IP address of the Exchange mail server in the evoerpsetup.exe program once you have configured the mail server accordingly.  That should work.
