IN-A drill down (Read 2472 times)

cathyh Active Member I used to be indecisive; now I'm not so sure...... Posts: 1210 Gender:	IN-A drill down 06/12/06 at 09:02:28 When I drill down to the work order for a F type, and then try to drill to the materials issued, for a work order that has more than one suffix for the same prefix, I get materials for the work order suffix 1 when what I have highlighted and am looking for is a 2 or 3.

Cathy,

Do you have the Patch for drill downs? the one at www.istechsupport.status.asp ? I just did as you said opened IN-A found a part drilled to WO then to Materials.. it shows me all WO Suffixs not just the first one. Work orders are an oddity in the structures. their index is made up of two fields WoPre and WoSuf.. the drill down program only handels one key at this time.. I am working on expanding this. But for now you can drill then set a filter to WoSuf = 2 and go.

When I drill down to the work order I can filter (great new filter entry!) and get listed just the R type work orders. There are two listed such as 1800-2, and 1800-3. When I highlight 1800-2 OR 1800-3, and try to drill down to materials, I get a listing for materials issued to 1800-1 (another valid but closed WO).

I have the lastest stuff that was posted as of 06/10 when I downloaded the update and installed it.

Allen,
I just re-read your first answer to my original question (which then morphed into another topic) and looked at the program I am using vs the one in the drill.zip file-- my date for the BKLUGRID.DBF file is 06/06/06 and the file in the drill.zip is 5/23/06. Which is the best version? I downloaded the update on 06/10/06 and installed it that day.

I can filter down to the single work order I am looking for, but when I try to drill to materials, I still get the work order xxxx-1 instead of xxxx-3.
