ADMIN Security Code
06/13/06 at 15:33:54

Hi, we have just updated to 2006.1 5/8/06 and our users on the ADMIN security code with level 1 security level cannot access the new menu items.

Help!  Should ADMIN have access to everything or is there something we need to activate?

thanks
Karen

The ADMIN level automatically has access to everything in Evo but in Classic, you still have to use PS-B to update the security level.

What do you mean by "access"? They get errors, or the items aren't there?

If they aren't there, are they the new ones? If so, make sure you have downloaded the latest full menu from the ISTech Support website.

The latest menu not only has the all the newest programs, but also a "hidden" ADMIN level that not only gives you ALL the menu items but gives you other features (such as the ability to kick everyone off the system and not let them back in until you say so).

Karen -

I don't mean the users that are defined as "A" level in PS-A.  I mean the username "ADMIN".  You have to log in once using the name ADMIN for the menu to be rebuilt and then the level "A" users will also have the new programs provided they are pure level "A" users and do not have a menu under their name in TAS-G.
