RTM Print Group (Read 817 times)

David Waldmann Active Member Live to work, or work to live? Posts: 1919 Gender:	RTM Print Group 06/22/06 at 08:54:51 Noticed this new field in AR-A, but can't find any reference to it either in the help file or the ISTS update detail page. Is it for anything, or is something upcoming?

It is for assigning a modified RTM to certain customers. Let's say you are doing business as 2 different company names shipping to one set of customers under one name and the other using a different name but it is all one company in DBA. Or (the actual situation this was developed for) a Canadian company who has some customers wanting the Invoice in French and others wanting it in English.

Modify the default RTM and Save As the same name plus 1 extra letter. Thus T6SOF4.RTM would be modified and saved as T6SOF4A.RTM. Any customer designated as "A" for RTM group would get forms printed on the "A" RTM and others would get the standard one.

So the group is the one-digit after the SD-M specified default form? And, does it also work on the other SO related forms (Ack, PL)? Something is brewing in the back of my mind, but I can't figure it out quite yet....
