I have just installed a new workstation.
 
Even after turning off   SPLASH  in the Pervasive , the logon screen is 28 seconds behind the DBA intro.
 
This new "hanging" station is an XPpro, but my (4) other XPpros do not have this problem.
I have several Win98, but only one has this hanging problem.
 
Any ideas.

p.s.  I know I should update my 2000 version of Pervasive, but the only problem I have encountered is this SPLASH thing.
