Couple large files

In my travels while trying to copy my installation to my laptop I discovered two large files in DBAMFG.
 
TAS174.TMP is just over 1 GB, yes, 1,091,628 KB
UPDLOG.TXT is about 22 MB.
 
Are they necessary to the operation of DBA or can they be deleted and DBA will re-create them if necesary?

You can delete both without any harm to DBA.

In fact, you can delete any files with a name TAS{random number}.TMP such as TAS7456.TMP or TAS9876.TMP.
