I would like to Globally change the category on the  
inventory master file.  Is it possible?

I have never been able to find a field for this one. I think it must be deep inside a string of text and not in it's own field? If that is the case than no you can't do a search and replace.

use UT-K-B global field replace on BKICMSTR field BKIC.PROD.CAT
