Work Order or  Pick Ticket Barcoded
10/12/06 at 12:29:09

Good Afternoon,
During the Symposium, Tim Goldstein and Lynn eluded to a report that already exists (RTM) that has the barcodes in it for Part Number, WO # and Qty.  How do we get our hands on this?

Thanks, Walter

You should have it already, if you get the updates - it just has an RTX extension instead of RTM.

Make a copy of your current RTM (if you've done any modification), an then rename the RTX to an RTM.

I made copies of the .RTX files (T6woc1,2,3,4) dated 11/10/2005 and took a look at each one.  The only barcodes are the work order #s.  There are no barcodes for part # and qty. Do I need to get  later versions? We are pretty much up to date on EvoERP.

Those appear to be the latest versions.

You should be able to add them using Report Editor.

Click "Add DBBarCode", double-click in the empty white box immediately to the right of Data > DataField in the left-hand pane, find the table you want and select the field.

Note that the table you will want to select will depend on whether you want the Parent Part Number or Component Part Number. I would expect you'd want the Component, which you should be able to find in WOBOM > WOMOM.COMPCODE. Quantity would probably be WOBOM.TOTQTY.

You may have to do some experimenting....
