Test Company
10/22/06 at 10:48:46

I'm trying to create a test company.  If the Path is left blank will it override any existing data, or does a new path need to be created?

Thanks

You should enter a new path, or at least the directory. The default method would be to use the Company Code as the directory name, in the DBAMFG folder. In fact, I believe if you create a new company with a code of 02, when you get to Path it will fill in 02\ which means it will be X:\DBAMFG\02. If you want it in a different folder or drive you need to specify the entire new path, ie Y:\DATA\NEW

I created a new path - thank you!

But received the following error messages:
Unable to open the BKSYMSTER file.

An error has occured while trying to open file - ISIS.BT - 3012

Fatal Err - File:  t6uti.SRC  line:586
You have tried to access a file that has nto been previously opened, or the file number value (FNUM) passed has 0

What next? Thanks
