See SD-Q, Sales. There is the ability to allow the deletion of SOs or not.

In SD-Q I can not get past the "Track Changes To Sales Order" option. Whether I input Y or N to the above option I get the following message:  To enable this option you must first create the tacking files.  To do so you must be in the default B company.  Then from UT-A run UPDFILE, select ISARCHG as the tagged file then press Process & then come back to this screen.

Well, I was in the default company, I went to UT-A & ran UPDFILE.RUN - I got a Warning:  File . has a record type setting of "".  If this is a Btrieve data file for use with the DBA system, this setting must be changed to "T".  If this is not set to "T", UPDATE may not run correctly for this file.  Would you like to have this correction made for you now -- because I really didn't know I tried NO (several times), ESC, hit X & nothing worked so I said YES.  It gave me no other option.  So then, I went on to UPDFILE & selected ISARCHG to be updated.  Then I got yet another WARNING ERROR:  Codebase Error - FILEDICT.C Status: 20  OK -  I hit OK several times to no avail - finally did the Ctrl-Alt-Delete routine Task Manager & did End Task to close the box.  Went back to SD-Q still can't go past the option.  All I really want to do is change the Prevent Deleting of SO in SO-A to "N"

Does anyone have a clue what can be done to correct this?

I don't have any input on all of the problems with UPDFILE etc, but try leaving the option blank rather than a Y or N.

I confirm the SD-Q bug, will be fixed in the next update.  It shouldn't be checking at all.
