update query problem
01/04/07 at 17:55:32

I created and update query that allows me to take contract prices that I have in an xls spreadsheet and put them into BKICPMAT. It works fine except for every row in the spreadsheet it creats 20 or more entries in the BKICPMAT database. I created linked tables of the xls spreadsheet and of the BICPMAT database.

When creating the BKICPMAT link, I am asked to identify a unique file name, but of course there is none, since CustID and ProdID can be present multiple times.

Does anybody know, how to avoid these duplicates?
