Apparently I'm just plain doing this wrong and I need to ask how to do it right:
 
We're just starting to use work orders to track things here. I've entered in a few WO's to test the waters. The first item in the routing for the parts we're doing is an outside processing step to get lasercut blanks. When I receive the purchase order for the blanks it adds the blanks as a material for the work order and counts the price against the WO. It, however, does NOT update the outside processing step to show that we've gotten the blanks in and that the outside processing is complete. How do I do this? Am I supposed to be going about this differently? Any pointers would be appreciated!
