I'm not sure that anyone even reads the programming forum anymore, but here goes...
 
I had modified BKSOOE to use a new key for BKARINVL (the key was ESDSO, which was ESD and SO) so that we could get our shipping report by ESD broken on SO#.  This worked great until I applied the ISTECH update, which undid the data change.  I was wondering if there was a way to create a temp index or even a whole temp file.  This would let me create that index whenever I wanted to run that report without making a database change (which will be undone at the next update).
