Delete Part in IN-B
02/23/07 at 07:54:47

For some reason, we try to delete a part in IN-B and it tells us that it's on a work order, even though we've pretty much verified it isn't, nor are there any outstanding WO, SO or POs or anything else tied to this part.  Is it safe to just go into maintain database and remove it that way, or should we be doing something else? Huh

Regards,

Val

I have had problems using the heavy handed approach with MDB. If you do remove a record with MDB and than you run Reconcile Inventory, it will sometimes do some strange things.

Have you purged all of your closed or canceled WO'S? this might work.

Hey, John.  No, I don't think that's been tried.  I'll make that suggestion and let you know.  Thank you!
