routing notes *not* passed to PO-A

We have outside processes set up in the routings for certain parts. There are notes in the routings that need to be passed to the PO (service order). When we enter a service order, enter the appropriate work order number and sequence it asks if we want the routing notes printed. We choose Yes but no notes are printed on the PO....please help...

The notes from RO-A are not passed to the service order (these are the notes we want), but if I go into WO-K-A and enter notes on the individual work order routing then those notes show on the PO. Why don't the master routing notes show? Why would the system be designed in such as way as to force users to manually enter notes on individual work order routings? Feature request...

I just created a new WO in T7WOA and the routing notes did get copied to the WOROUT notes..

I then created a new Service PO and selected that WO and it asked me if I wanted the include the routing notes. I said yes, and they are added to the PO.

I saved the PO and went back in .. they are still there.. what is the problem?

Posts: 728 Gender:	*Re: routing notes not* passed to PO-A Reply #5 -** 03/02/07 at 12:38:41 Could be related to an issue we are having regarding various "note" areas in the system, AP/WO etc. Since the update, some of my workstations cannot see or enter notes. It is related to the workstation, not the user. ...any ideas? Need to solve this as users need to see & add notes during various tasks.

Was it manually entered in WOA or was it converted from and estimate or something??

We only enter work orders manually via WO-A. I mentioned in an earlier post that the notes entered via WO-K-A will pass to the service order but I spoke too soon as it only happened once. Now I can't even get those notes to save. If I enter notes in WO-K-A, exit and go back in the notes have disappeared...
