WO-A descriptions changing
02/28/07 at 13:45:29

Oh dear, we have always modified the part "description" in WO-A to show our heat code, due date, & steel status because these very important items did not show up in certain scheduling reports.

Now, when we enter WO-A to edit a WO and tab through the description, it is changing back to the "item description".  We need this field to stay static and not change once we have entered info into it.
Also have an unsubstantiated claim that the quantity is changing.  I cannot duplicate it and think the person may be confused.

I confirm, that is a bug. I will have it fixed in the next 5 minutes.  Then I will send it to Lynn to post with the APA fix.

Lynn

As of 7 am on Thursday 3/1 , this patch wasn't showing up on the indicated webpage.

OOPS - sorry. I see now that it's part of the other patch.

Maybe I should have my coffee BEFORE posting, huh?

Installed patch.  Notes are showing up in 2 computers.  Not showing up in the rest of them.  (WO notes & AP notes)

I tested logging in the computer under regular (not admin) user names and logging into EVO under those same names.  On the computers where notes are showing, they show up for the "regular user".  On the computers where notes are not showing, they do not show up even if administrator is logged in.

I looked at the config files - Set run path is set to C:\ists\
All other items appear to be the same between the computers

Need to know what to check next
