Overhead as % of Labor
03/02/07 at 13:48:49

SD-B Help says if Post Overhead as % of Labor is set to Y, the overhead rates will be calculated as a percentage of labor.  Where do the percentages come from?  If we wanted to use hourly overhead rates, where do we enter those?

We have only been using the inventory and materials components of DBA in addition to accounting.

Thanks for your help.

You need to set up the labor and overhead rates in the work centers in RO-C.  The "Post Labor as % of Overhead" only applies if you are posting labor at the employee's payroll rate rather than the work center rate.
